Boardwalk Realty is a full service real estate
organization offering both property management and sales. Boardwalk was founded in 1972 by
George Rifley. It was later owned by Wendell and Shirley Kerr until 1986 when
it was purchased Bill Cox. On December 31, 1998 Bill retired and
Boardwalk is now being run by his son Brad and his wife Beth. In 1986 Boardwalk managed around twenty summer rental properties; now
we have more than seventy houses and still growing.
Boardwalk is very much a
"family affair". Bill Cox Their son Brad, Boardwalk's broker, is
married to Beth Cox who is also a school teacher and part-time salesperson. Beth's mother,
Mary Jim, is the back bone of the company and is the friendly woman who knows the rentals
like the back of her hand. What a family tree!
