Bout Time

There were 9 of us and two fur babies! The house was perfect. Every couple had their own room and bathroom. We had the best week. We celebrated a 50th birthday and a proposal on the beach! The house is designed perfectly! Open, airy and spacious! Sliding door balconies off of each bedroom. They didn’t miss a beat! Overlooking the sound and the ocean access right across the street provided plenty of beach walks for shell and sea glass searching. The sunsets at this end of the island are magnificent. The management team is so friendly and helpful. They were absolutely wonderful. As a matter of fact, everyone on the island was super nice and welcoming! We thought we would cook more, and we did buy a ton of shrimp and cook it, but we also spent our money on local restaurants and they did not disappoint. It was the perfect week!

What an amazing vacation!  This house is amazing and was perfect for our family vacation. There were 13 of us and everyone enjoyed the home. The decks and pool got a lot of use. We enjoyed the beach and the surrounding area. The kitchen was perfect size for a large group. Bedrooms were good size and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Would highly recommend! This place is beautiful!

Thank you for creating a space for two families to spend a week together. It was so important for everyone to have their own sleeping and personal space. The room designs were perfect and thoughtfully laid out. Favorites: *Pool- we can never come back without one now. It was enjoyed by everyone. An absolute favorite. *Deck outside of each bedroom, we had a couple of kids that sat outside on their deck anytime they could. We Loved being able to look at the bay or the ocean * Bathrooms - no one was ever waiting&nbsp *Dart board - used a ton! *Double oven loved making breakfast casseroles in both ovens *Large capacity washer and dryer - a load a day *Personal walkway to the beach *The seating space on the outside deck. Options to be poolside or just at the tables. *The master bed on the bottom floor was very comfortable, we slept in each day.  *The 2 refrigerators – blessing. *Spacious rooms. *Thoughtful amenities. This truly was a beautiful home and week for our families.  Thank you for stocking the cabinets with all the utensils, serving dishes, and so much more.

Perfect Family Vacation.  Perfect house for 6 adults and 5 children 6 & under. Still warm enough for pool time and being in the bay was nature’s playground for these kids. Dads and grandad could fish and still watch the kids. The migrating butterflies, the fish, blue crabs, sand crabs, sting rays, hermit crabs and more made up for the older kids missing a week and of 5k! They had so Much to see, learn, & experience. Trips to Bird sanctuary and Estuarium topped it off. The house was plenty big for spreading out and sleeping all of us comfortably. Very well stocked kitchen. Had our groceries delivered abd we needed nothing else! The dart game and other games were fun. Kids brought a kayak and the lagoon was perfect for that. So close to the gulf that we had easy access to waves but so much easier on the bay with these small children. We would book this house again in an instant!!

This was one of our families' favorite vacations and we hope to make it a tradition every year!  The house is simply incredible and the sussets anre gorgeous.  Even though it was a little cold to be in the water the kids had a great time playing in the sand, looking for seshells and fishing.  Thank you for such a beautiful home and giving our families memories that we will chaerish forever!

Amazing! We loved the house! Views from every room!  The flow of the house was perfect for our group of 9!  The decor was perfect, the beds were comfy, the kitchen was great, every detail was well-thought (we especially loved the labels everywhere!!).  Dauphin Island is a secret treasure!  The weather didn't cooperate for us, but we had so much fun anyway!  We can't wait to come back!! Thanks for a memorable trip...it was amazing!

Can we just say AMAZING? There are not enough beautiful words to describe this incredible vacation home! We have always stayed on the gulf side so we were not sure if we would miss it or not, but we can honestly say the view, boardwalk, pool and private beach area was even better than being on the gulf! The home is amazingly well appointed with everything one could need for relaxing and enjoying the island! We had a 17 month old with his parents and four grandparents and we made beautiful memories! The private balconies provide space for quiet time alone and the big deck and pool area is perfect for gathering and having fun! We loved that all bedrooms were simply stunning and attention to detail is in every single room! And not even the smallest detail for vacationing comfort was overlooked by the owners! Thank you for making your beautiful home available! One of the best and most relaxing vacations we have ever had!

Best house on the island!  Gorgeous house and the pool overlooks the bay! The kids had a blast playing in the sand. The breeze on the deck fools you into thinking it is cooler than it is. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Oh my word. Bout Time now tops our list of favorite vacation spots. Dauphin Island is a well kept secret, just a short drive from here in Memphis, and Bout Time is the best thing about it! The views, the beautiful pool, the birds and other wildlife in the little lagoon out back, and easy access to the dock and beach which are literally seconds away. I really don’t know what anyone else could ask for. The house is equipped for your every need — we were just blown away by how easy they’ve made it to turn this paradise into your home for the duration of your stay. And if you should need anything else, the rental agent Beth is on top of it. Responsive and so helpful and friendly. We will cherish our memories there for a lifetime, and we can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful House!  The house was perfect and we had an amazing time! We had made our reservations prior to the stay at home orders/closures and took a "wait and see" attitude on whether to make the trip or not. We were hesitant to go, but are glad we made the trip. A few of the restaurants on the island were open for take out and we hired a local company, Dauphin Island Hospitality, to deliver our groceries for us the day we arrived so we wouldn't have to go into Mobile. I would highly recommend using them even if the virus is not a concern for the convenience of not having to stop and get groceries after a long trip (ours was 10 hours). We had a great time just staying at the house and enjoying the deck, pool and beach. The sunsets are gorgeous! Would definitely recommend choosing this house for your stay.

My family and I stayed the last week of February 2020 and I'll mark it down as one of my favorite vacations.  The house is amazing from the views, the gourmet kitchen, the spacious bedrooms and the furnishings.  We slept in, shopped, walked on the beach and just relaxed.  I recomend Bout Time to everyone and we definitely hope to visit again.  

Beautiful! Perfect!  Loved the house and location! It’s an amazing house, new and up-to-date. It’s clean and comfortable - had EVERYTHING you would want in a beach house. Had many different types of seabirds checking out the lagoon in the backyard! The sunsets and sunrises were amazing - each porch and deck offered different, amazing views! Met a few business owners/workers from Dauphin Island - gave us suggestions of where to eat and what to do. Would definitely recommend this house and location for a relaxing vacation! For anyone who loves gardens, take a trip to Bellingrath Gardens in Theodore, Alabama - AMAZING!!! Miss it already!!!

Spent a wonderful Super Bowl Birthday week here. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfy, and linens are top notch. Lovely views of sunrise AND sunsets! Watch for dolphins playing, they are huge! Definitely the place for families to reconnect!

 Beautiful Vacation Home.  This house exceeded my expectations. The views of the beach are amazing from every room in the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The back deck and pool were a great place to hang out, even with it being too cold to swim in the winter.

This house was awesome!! The views of gulf and bay, sunsets....AMAZING!!! The house was perfect for our large group, food prep and serving areas, sleeping arrangements, everything was laid out perfectly. Sadly too cold for the pool, but will come back again! Made some great memories for family and friends. We will definitely book this location again. Thank you!!

 Paradise.  This place is the nicest place on the island … ever single detail is perfect … from the private pool to the bay side beach front white sand with a dock! Bay side is the way to go… basically no wind on your huge back deck when everyone else maybe getting blown over. The sunsets are insane beautiful and will make every picture you take look professional! I want to book this place again for next year already … first time I haven’t been ready to come home from a vacation…

This house is absolutely amazing and we will definitely book it again. Beautiful views from every room and great location. Spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. We didn't take anything with us but our clothes and that was all we needed.

Beautiful.  Perfectly planned and proportioned home . Enough activities around if you want to indulge but also perfect for a quiet getaway with friends or family. The pictures do not do this place justice.

My family rented this beautiful beach house and I can't say enough good things about it. Clean, great location, and fun for the whole family. There aren't many houses located on Dauphin Island with a pool which was a definite bonus! The staff at the rental office were very friendly and helpful also. We will DEFINITELY be going back!!!

We stayed there the end of February into the first couple days of March. It is a beautiful place the pictures do not do it justice! It is a great place to go relax and spend time with the family. You won't stay in a better equipped house! They have gone out of their way to make sure you can have the best stay possible!

We were blessed to be able to stay here end of Feb and the first couple days of March. If you're looking for a beautiful home to rent with your family where you can relax and enjoy the beauty of the island then this is the house for you. They have taken the sweat out of vacations by providing every amenity. A lot of thought went into this home to make our vacation one to remember.

This place was absolutely amazing!! The most relaxing vacation ever and the house and location were perfect. We walked to the beach and spent hours walking up and down the beach finding the biggest shells I have ever seen. You won’t find a more beautiful and well equipped house to go and relax and just get away from everyday life. I am looking forward to our next trip there!!

So beautiful here! Water views from front & back! Peaceful, not over populated.
